Lisburn City Council is opposed to the South Eastern Trust proposal to run down the Maternity Unit, Obstetrics, Accident and Emergency Services and other medical provision at Lagan Valley Hospital and calls on the Minister for Health, Social Services and Public Safety to provide adequate resources to ensure all existing services are secured.
