RIVERSIDE REGENERATION PROJECT LISBURN'S LAGAN CORRIDOR A vision for Lisburn's Riverfront is at the forefront of Lisburn City Council's strategy for the Lagan Corridor. The Lagan Corridor programme seeks to ensure the sensitive and optimum planning and development of the Lagan Corridor, by utilising the river and its adjacent lands, in a sensitive, practical and co-ordinated approach.
It is a major long-term programme involving Lisburn City Council working in partnership with statutory bodies, businesses, other local authorities and local residents, all of which are committed to bringing the River back to life. Our aim is to enhance the Lagan Corridor to develop a thriving area with a commercial, social and recreational vibrancy that meets the expectations of citizens and attracts visitors to the area.
The Lagan Corridor Unit is managed by the Lagan Corridor Regeneration Manager who reports directly to the Assistant Director of Environmental Services (Economic Development).
